Environmental Pledge

We recognise that at SFP we have a responsibility to do everything we can to work in an environmentally sustainable way. That’s why we have an environmental pledge to do our part in addressing climate change.

SFP Will:

• Work with clients to add energy efficiency measures to their homes

• Use environmentally friendly products and equipment whenever possible

• Order only the materials we need and store them safely

• Consider our site neighbours

• Minimise road journeys to and from jobs

• Encourage staff to share cars

• Keep up to date with new legislation and technologies

• Turn off office equipment at the end of the day

• Separate and recycle waste wherever possible and then dispose of the remainder legally

• Avoid causing pollution to land, water or air

• Protect the natural environment, biodiversity and heritage

• Ensure the health and safety of SFP staff, clients and local people.

• If clients would like us to look into carbon offsetting for their construction work, we can provide information about the financial donation required for each particular job. This contribution will be donated to a reputable carbon offsetting charity
